I had an empty room that had no use and potential for something great. It was the perfect size for a beautiful seven-foot American classic pool table. I researched and found the one that spoke to me. She was gorgeous with a dark oak finish and bright red felt. Within seconds, the shopping cart had an item in it and the order was completed. I was ecstatic the day my new table was delivered. Thoughts of parties and games with friends ran wild through my mind. The first few months were amazing, so many lunch breaks and late-night chats were had over a game of pool. Yes, this is the most obvious one. I started using it to play pool again! The difference was that I added a Billight lighting system. When I had people over and threw parties, everyone was attracted to the lights and it made my friends want to come over and play more. The different games mode made the game of pool a lot more interesting and fun. I also love throwing on light shows and playing casual games.
Pong
A party classic. Pool tables are the perfect size for a great pong table. To save the felt, I recommend having the cups less than half full and putting a protector between the cups and the felt.
Ping Pong
This is a very easy way to double the functionality of your table. It is very easy to buy a pool table ping pong topper. Once I did this, I had two game tables that only took up the space of one. Serving Board
Another fantastic option for a party. If I know that no one will want to play games, I put a pool table cover over the felt and use it to serve my delicious food. I make use of the fact that the pool table is in the middle of the room and I have two serving lines, one on each side of the table for more efficient food grabbing.
Bar
Similar to the serving board, I utilize my pool table as a centerpiece at parties. I put a cover over the felt and have people use the table to put their drinks and food, and gather around to talk.
